UK guitar band Morning Parade is the latest signing of legendary record label Parlophone, which is home to major acts such as Coldplay, Sigur Ros, Blur and LCD Soundsystem. The five-pieced band, hailing from the Essex satellite town on Harlow, was picked up by Wildlife Management (Arctic Monkeys) and is set to be among the most exciting breakout guitar bands of 2011. "It was great working on a remix for a band that's been clearly influenced by dance music heroes when growing up in the same way that I have", says an enthusiastic Dash Berlin, when asked about his latest remix. "There was already a very distinct 4/4 feel going on in the original song, so it felt really natural for me and the guys to remix Morning Parade's original into something that I can play in my sets. It's amazing to see that a guitar band and a Trance DJ are basically doing the same thing creatively, with the only major difference being the choice and feel of instruments. I'm a big fan of Morning Parade and Britt pop in general and I am proud to be a tiny part of their history via this remix. I think they are one of the most exciting bands to see live at the festivals this summer".
